These galleries contain a collection of images taken using both digital and film SLR cameras equipped with high quality Canon L lenses.

To simplify browsing, I have divided the images into six themes: -

  • Countryside
    • - not only focussing on landscapes, this section is intended to reflect other aspects of rural Britain such as domesticated and farm animals, waterways and the man-made environment.
  • Places
    • - towns and villages, individual buildings, structures and attractions all of which help tell the story of a place.
  • Gardens
    • - I have a particular fascination with and love of gardens. To me they are a window into the peace and serenity of a past world – somewhere to relax, unwind and take in the sumptuous beauty around you. This gallery contains images taken across England and Wales. Pictures of Cheshire gardens (one in eight of all garden visits in the U.K. take place in the county), can be found in the Cheshire gallery – see below.
  • Built Heritage
    • - abbeys, castles, stately homes, stone circles and churches – the very fabric of British history, crafted by generations who lived in a country very different from the fast-paced, technological nation of today.
  • Chester
    • – my home city, famous for its traditional half timbered architecture, Norman cathedral, Roman walls and beautiful River Dee.
  • Cheshire
    • - for reasons related to my current employment, I cannot sell any images of Cheshire attractions. However I can’t resist setting aside a small part of this website, so I can highlight just a few of the wonderful places that can be visited there.
