A yacht sails the placid waters of Lake Windermere on a misty April morning. This is the largest natural lake in England, measuring 12 miles long by one mile wide. This photograph was taken from the lake shore at the National Park Visitor Centre at Brockhole, which is situated between the towns of Bowness and Ambleside.
