Nestling along the winding country lanes of deepest south Cheshire, the village lies on the lower slopes of the magical Peckforton Hills. This is a Marcher landscape, similar to the countryside that can be enjoyed in the other English border counties of Shropshire and Hereforshire. Nearby is Peckforton and Beeston Castles.
