The Cobb at Lyme Regis dates from the 13th century and is the harbour break-water for this Dorset coastal resort.

It was featured in the film 'A French Lieutenant's Woman' with Meryl Streep and in the recent ITV1 adaptation of the Jane Austen novel, Persuasion.
