The sun sets one November evening and all is peaceful in Cheshire's scenic Peckforton Hills. The hills are part of a Sandstone Ridge that rises above the Cheshire Plain in the west of the county. This is perfect walking country, offering magnificent views across to North Wales in one direction and the distant Peak District in the other.
