This is one of my favourite images. Taken in May 1979 from a hillside above the Pheasant Inn, Burwardsley. I like it, because it reminds me of happy evenings, touring - with my friends - the many fine country pubs of Cheshire.

The quality of the transparency is not very good - it was the last frame on the film and came back from the developers scratched - so it's not for sale. However, I thought it worth sharing that sublime moment as the sun set across the Cheshire Plain, 30 years ago.
