Malpas - St. Oswald's Church and Cottages

The small town of Malpas, in south Cheshire, is set in the attractive, rolling countryside of the border with Shropshire. While administratively Cheshire is located in England's Northwest region, culturally, geographically and historically a large part of the county has more in common with the Marcher counties to its south. The great cities to the north of Cheshire - and Lancashire and Cumbria beyond these - are far different in character. Malpas typifies these differences - compact, historic and with a real sense of community, it is a peaceful place in harmony with its surrounding landscape.
