Marton Church in Snow
The Church of St. James and St. Paul at Marton, is said to be the oldest timber framed church in Europe that is still in use for worship. It dates from the 14th century and sits upon a prehistoric mound. The village is also the home of Cheshire's most venerable oak tree, thought to be some 600 years old.
