Beauty of Britain

The 17th century grand terraces at Powis Castle, are perhaps the most famous feature of these outstanding gardens. Luckily for us they survived the 18th century trend towards a more natural style of landscaping, which laid waste to many such formal features in English gardens. This is a National Trust property.
