Beauty of Britain

Set on a wooded hill, not far from medieval Beeston Castle, Grade 1 listed Peckforton Castle is actually a relatively modern creation. It was built between 1841 and 1851 by Cheshire MP John Tollemache. It is now open to the public for conferences, weddings and leisure breaks.
