Located in Poole, Dorset, Compton Acres is one of Britain’s most impressive privately owned gardens. It is, in fact, a sequence of gardens, with visitors moving from one themed space to another. Pictured is Compton’s Italian Garden. Other areas include the Wooded, Roman, Japanese, Heather, Water, Winter, Rock and Memory gardens.
